    What's the story

To up the competition among dating apps, Badoo has decided to take dating to the next level.

Who doesn't want to date a celeb? Pretty much everyone does!

While Badoo cannot actually hook you up with popular stars, it does enable you to date their lookalikes, thanks to its unique facial recognition.

Ready to ask your favorite celeb (lookalike) out?

    Badoo lookalikes

Your dating wishlist can finally become a reality!

Badoo's feature 'Lookalikes' puts nearby daters in touch, depending on their choice.

If celebs aren't your thing, you can find people resembling your real-life crushes.

What's more? If you don't want to search for others' doppelgangers, you can even find your own by simply uploading your picture!

According to the company, the feature would be available on the mobile app for free.

    Unique Feature

    How does Badoo work?

With Badoo, you can avoid boring tasks like looking at people's profile pictures, reading their bios, or swiping on them!

To make things simple, Badoo shows only the lookalikes of your celebrity/real-life crushes so that users can easily choose who they really want to meet.

Users only need to choose celebs on the app or upload people's pictures (from Facebook/computer) to find doppelgangers.

    Data

Analyze facial features of over 350 million users

Badoo Lookalikes analyzes the facial features of the user's selection and pairs him/her with resembling profiles from over 350 million users. Users can also review their matches before initiating conversations with the lookalikes.

    Celebs

Most popular celeb choices on Badoo

The most popular female celeb choices are Kim Kardashian, Emma Stone, Beyonce, Selena Gomez, Jessica Alba, and Kylie Jenner among others.

Male celebs like Justin Bieber, Robert Pattinson, Jake Gyllenhaal, David Gandy are searched for on Lookalikes.

Surprisingly, while he may not be known for his looks, US President Trump, has emerged as the tenth most searched-for celebrity on Badoo.
