    What's the story

Having multiple shopping profiles within the same Amazon account on your Android device makes shopping easier for families or individuals with different needs.

This tutorial gives you a step-by-step guide on how to use the Profile Switching feature, allowing you to switch between profiles or add new ones with ease.

    Fire Tablet steps

Switching profiles on Amazon Fire tablets

Switching profiles on Amazon Fire HD tablet is now easier than ever.

Simply swipe down for quick settings and tap the person icon.

This will show you all the existing profiles as well as an "Add new user" option.

You can then click to switch profiles or add a new one, making it easy to manage everything directly from the device settings.

    App navigation

Profile management in Amazon shopping app

The Amazon app on Android makes managing multiple profiles a breeze.

Tap the lines in the bottom-right corner, then "Settings" to see "Switch Account" or "Profile."

Select the profile you want from the list of existing ones. For a new profile, tap "Add Account" and follow the prompts to set it up.

    Household setup

Utilizing Amazon Household for profile management

Amazon Household makes it easy to manage multiple profiles under one account, perfect for families.

To add family members, log into your Amazon account on the app or website, go to "Accounts and Lists," select "Amazon Household," and then click on "Add a member."

Each family member gets their own unique profile, adults get full access, and kids and teens get limited access (they need approval to buy anything).

    Business switching

Seamless switch between personal and business accounts

For people who have both personal and business accounts on Amazon, the platform has now made it super easy to switch between them.

By simply opening the Amazon app, tapping the three horizontal lines to access the menu, then heading to Settings, and finally selecting Switch Accounts, you can add your business account or switch between your personal and business accounts without having to log out.
