'You are not India': Smriti Irani attacks opposition bloc

The Lok Sabha witnessed a fiery exchange of words between Union Minister Smriti Irani and Congress leaders during the debate on the no-confidence motion against the central government on Wednesday.
Rahul Gandhi alleged that the government had "killed Mother India" in the Manipur violence.
Amid chants of "India" from the opposition MPs, Irani hit back, saying, "You're not India, for India is not corrupt."

Following the opposition's allegation that the Centre is forcing Manipur's division, Irani mentioned the 1984 Emergency period, saying Congress history is "soaked in blood."
She alleged that Gandhi "insulted Bharat Mata" by talking about her murder in his statement.
Irani also cited horrific stories of violence against Kashmiri Pandit women and said that the opposition doesn't want their plight to be exposed.

Congress never sought justice for Rajasthan, Bengal rape victims: Irani
Launching another scathing attack on Gandhi, Irani alleged that Gandhi and the party were not asking for justice for gangrape victims of Rajasthan and West Bengal.
Referring to the alleged rape and murder of a Kashmiri Pandit woman, Girija Tickoo, she said, "When this was shown in a movie, some Congress leaders called it propaganda. The same party leaders are talking about justice today."

Irani says Article 370 will never be reinstated
"Rahul Gandhi says he wants Article 370 to be reinstated in J&K. I want to tell those who have left the House (Rahul Gandhi) that Article 370 will never be reinstated," Irani said.
As Gandhi left Parliament in the middle of her reply, she said the government never ran away from debating the Manipur situation, but the opposition did.
