    What's the story

BJP chief Amit Shah said yesterday that no 'gathbandhan' or 'maha gathbandhan' (alliance or grand alliance) can come in the way of BJP achieving its agenda of inclusive growth.

Addressing the workshop session of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM), he urged young party-workers to contact the "22 crore" beneficiaries of the public welfare schemes of the Modi government and establish personal relationship.

    Details

Focus of the workshop was the 2019 Lok Sabha elections

"If we manage to contact the 22 crore beneficiaries, the BJP will get a bigger mandate than it got in 2014," Shah told the party workers.

The workshop was conducted in Delhi and was attended by nearly 1,000 BJYM members including national office-bearers, state presidents and district presidents from all states.

The focus of the workshop was centered around the 2019 Lok Sabha elections.

    Preparation

Workshop organized to design a strategy for BJYM workers

The workshop was also organized to design a strategy for BJYM workers, right up to the mandal level, to reach out to voters in the run-up to the 2019 Lok Sabha elections.

According to a party release, various sessions were held on organizational management, dissemination of key schemes and achievements of the government, and use of media and social media.

    Plan

Spread message of development to all, Shah tells BJYM workers

"If the Yuva Morcha makes up its mind, no alliance or grand alliance can come in the way of BJP achieving its goal of 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas'," Shah said.

He claimed the Modi government tried to raise the living standard of around 50 crore people through 129 pro-poor schemes.

Shah urged young party workers to spread the message of development to all Indians.
