The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has released its manifesto for the upcoming Haryana Assembly elections, promising guaranteed jobs for Agniveers and a monthly financial aid of ₹2,100 under the "Lado Laxmi Yojana." The manifesto was released in Rohtak by Union Minister and BJP President JP Nadda, Haryana BJP president Mohan Lal Badoli, and Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini. This announcement comes a day after the Congress party revealed its seven guarantees for the state.
BJP's manifesto focuses on employment and healthcare
The BJP's manifesto also includes plans to construct 10 industrial cities modeled after IMT Kharkhoda, aiming to provide employment for over 50,000 youth from nearby villages. In the healthcare sector, the party pledged to increase the annual amount received under Chirayu Ayushman from ₹5 lakh to ₹10 lakh. College-going female students were promised scooters under the Awal Balika Yojana, while LPG cylinders will be available at ₹500 under the Har Ghar Grahini Yojana.
BJP's 20 promises include jobs and healthcare benefits
Other promises include guaranteed government jobs for two lakh locals and additional employment opportunities for five lakh individuals under the National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme. The Chirayu-Ayushman Yojana will provide free treatment up to ₹10 lakh for each family, with extra coverage of ₹5 lakh for elderly members above 70. Dialysis in government hospitals and free diagnosis in all hospitals are also part of the healthcare plan.
Nadda criticizes Congress, emphasizes BJP's commitment to Haryana
During the manifesto launch, Nadda criticized the Congress, stating that for them, "this document is just a formality...an attempt to deceive the people." He contrasted this with the BJP's approach, declaring that their "Sankalp Patra" is of utmost importance as they are committed to serving Haryana non-stop. The BJP has outlined 20 promises focusing on welfare, employment and infrastructure ahead of the Haryana polls.
