There may be no free parking in Mumbai from March except at a few spots, as the government lifted a stay on a BMC policy.

The differential rates policy (Rs 2,000/month for night parking at Colaba-Churchgate A Ward) faced backlash when it was introduced in 2015.

The Tree Authority had, however, given permission for the felling.
