    The sunrise time determines the period of Brahma Muhurta. In the spiritual practice of Brahma Muhurta, one muhurta equals 48 minutes. It begins two muhurtas before sunrise—one hour and 36 minutes before sunrise—and comes to an end 48 minutes before sunrise.

    However, pregnant women or children should avoid waking up during this period.
