    At a height of 10,000ft, in the foothills of the Himalayas, lies a small village called Rasol.

    It is an offbeat location and offers the travelers some breathtaking views of the mountains.

    Take a bus ride to Kasol, and then a three/four hour hike up to Rasol.

    Tip: Keep yourself motivated and hydrated while hiking, the views will be totally worth it!

    Amritsar, Punjab

    Amritsar, a holy city in the northern state of Punjab, has a lot to offer culturally as well as spiritually.

    Reaching Amritsar is pretty easy, you can catch a train or a bus directly to the city.

    Once you reach Amritsar, make sure to visit Golden Temple, Maharaja Ranjit Singh Museum, Wagah Border, and the Jallianwalla Bagh.

    Alwar, Rajasthan

    Alwar in Rajasthan is yet another low-budget travel destination you should consider visiting.

    Rajasthan is all about its various forts and palaces. So, do visit the spectacular Alwar fort, and relish its grandeur.

    That apart, also take out some time for Moosi Maharani Ki Chhatri and the Siliserh Lake.

    Tip: October-April is the best time to visit Alwar.

    Chandigarh is bordered by the states of Punjab and Haryana.

    One of the cleanest and most well-planned cities in the country, Chandigarh is a treat to visit during any time of the year.

    You can easily visit the city by bus, train, or a flight.

    Tip: You can extend your trip by visiting Shimla, which is almost 3 hours away (by road) from Chandigarh.

    Famously called the queen of hills, Mussoorie is a charming hill station located in the foothills of Garhwal Himalayan range.
