    5 DIY cooling face masks to keep your skin hydrated

    One excellent way to pamper your skin is through DIY face-cooling masks. Whether you're looking to calm irritated skin, reduce puffiness, or simply indulge in a rejuvenating self-care routine, a homemade cooling face mask can be the perfect solution.

    Check out a few combinations for such cooling face masks.

    Tip 1

    Yogurt and aloe vera 

    Yogurt and aloe vera are both excellent cooling agents.

    Mix four tablespoons of aloe vera and one teaspoon of yogurt. Before rinsing, let the mask stay on your face for at least 15 minutes.

    Aloe vera will leave your skin feeling smooth and young, and the lactic acid present in yogurt can exfoliate the skin, removing dead skin cells, to promote a brighter complexion.

    Tip 2

    Green tea and mint

    Green tea has several antioxidants that aid in the battle against inflammation, and mint leaves cool the skin.

    To make this mask, prepare green tea and allow it to cool. Crush a few fresh mint leaves and added them to the tea.

    Apply the mixture to your face, and then leave it on for 15 minutes. Rinse off with cold water.

    Tip 3

    Cucumber and lemon juice

    Grate one medium-sized fresh cucumber before using a sieve to extract the juice. Mix one tablespoon of fresh lemon juice with three tablespoons of cucumber juice in a bowl.

    Apply it to your face and neck with a cotton ball. Leave it on the skin until it dries naturally.

    Rinse off with water. Apply the mask daily to achieve plump and bright skin.

    Tip 4

    Watermelon and honey

    Mash a few cubes of fresh watermelon. Mix it with some raw honey.

    Apply it all over your face and neck, then gently massage your face for two to three minutes. Then wash it off with cool and fresh water.

    Apply this cooling face mask twice a week for exfoliation. It is excellent for people with dry skin.

    Tip 5

    Turmeric, mint and rose water

    Mint acts as a cooling agent while turmeric powder helps you get rid of rashes.

    Blend mint leaves and rose water to make a fine paste, then combine it with some turmeric powder. After applying this paste, leave it on your face for ten minutes.

    This mask can help you feel energized and fresh throughout the day.
