    Another RSS worker shot dead, this time in UP's Ghazipur

    What's the story

    Four days after an RSS leader was murdered in Ludhiana, another in UP's Ghazipur was shot dead by bike-borne assailants today.

    Rajesh Mishra was at his shop in Karanda with his brother Amitesh when the incident happened. The brother is injured too.

    Mishra was also working as a journalist with the Dainik Jagran Hindi daily.

    Police say they expect to arrest the suspects soon.

    Four days ago, an RSS member was killed in Ludhiana

    On October 17, Ludhiana RSS leader Ravinder Gosai, office-bearer of the district BJP, was shot dead by unidentified assailants. He died on the spot. Gosai was the head of the Raghunath Nagar Mohan Shakha.

    Many condemned it as targeted killing of right-wing activists.

    The government has handed over the case to the NIA. It also announced a compensation of Rs. 5L for Gosai's family.
