J&K: Ceasefire violation death toll climbs to 11 since Thursday
What's the story
An Army jawan injured in a ceasefire violation by Pakistan on Saturday succumbed to his injuries, taking the death toll in border firing incidents in Jammu & Kashmir to 11 since Thursday.
The deceased Jawan, Chandan Kumar Rai, was posted in a forward post in the Mankote sector of the Poonch district.

Ceasefire violations leave both civilians and soldiers dead
Casualties from ceasefire violations have been reported in the districts of Jammu, Kathua, Samba, Poonch, and Rajouri.
On Thursday, a BSF jawan and a teenage girl were killed.
On Friday, two civilians, one BSF jawan, and one Army jawan were killed.
Three civilians and another Army jawan were killed again on Saturday, before Rai's demise at night.

India and Pakistan accuse each other of violating ceasefire first
Two days back, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) had summoned Pakistan's deputy high commissioner to convey its "grave concern" over repeated ceasefire violations.
Earlier on the same day, Pakistan had summoned Indian Deputy High Commissioner J. P. Singh to condemn alleged ceasefire violations on India's part.
Both parties India and Pakistan accused each other of deliberately targeting civilian populations.
