    In a shocking development from Madhya Pradesh, two individuals were reportedly shot dead in Indore on Thursday night after a heated argument between neighbors over their pet dogs.

    According to reports, six other people were also injured in the incident.

    The accident took place in the Krishna Bagh colony, which falls under the jurisdiction of the Khajrana Police Station.

    What led to Indore incident

    According to PTI, the argument began around 10:00pm between Rajpal Rajawat, a security guard at a local bank, who was walking his pet dog, and another neighbor who was also walking their dog.

    The brawl escalated when the two summoned other men to fight on their behalf.

    Rajpal then went to the roof and fired in the air and at people standing below.

    Police arrested accused, seized his gun: Singh

    Indore Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Amrendra Singh identified the two deceased individuals as Rahul Verma (28) and Vimal Amcha (35).

    "Eight persons received the gunshots, among whom two persons, namely Rahul and Vimal died at the spot," he told ANI.

    Furthermore, the police arrested the accused, and his double-barreled 12-bore gun was seized. Rajawat's gun license, according to reports, had also expired.

    Injured individuals admitted to Maharaja Yashwantrao Hospital: Police

    Providing details about the injured individuals in the incident, the Indore DCP stated that five of the injured have been identified as Rahul's pregnant wife, Jyoti, Seema, Kamal Khede, Lalit Godse, and Mohit Goyal.

    According to the news outlet Hindustan Times, they were admitted to Maharaja Yeshwantrao Hospital, and their current condition is said to be stable.

    Details on FIR by Khajrana Police

    The Khajrana Police have also registered a case against the accused, his nephew Shubham Rajawat and his son Sudhir. As per reports, the FIR was under Indian Penal Code (IPC) Sections 323 (voluntarily causing assault), 506 (criminal intimidation), and 302 (murder).

    In a separate incident, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA Ram Lallu Vaishya's son, Vivekanand Vaishya, was apprehended earlier this month in connection with the shooting of a tribal man in Singrauli.

    As per The Times of India, the incident occurred on August 3, when Vaishya fired at Surya Kumar Khairwar during an argument with a group of individuals near the Budhi Mai Mata Temple.
