    What's the story

On Saturday morning, four siblings were found dead at their rented house in Faridabad in Haryana.

Their bodies were discovered hanging from ceiling fans after a caretaker raised an alarm about a foul smell emanating from the flat in Faridabad's Surajkund area.

Prima facie, it appears that all four siblings committed suicide.

However, police are investigating all other angles.

    Here are the details.

    Details

The deceased were unmarried, middle-aged siblings

The deceased siblings - three sisters and their brother - were unmarried and aged between 37 and 52 years.

The eldest was Meena Mathews, aged 52 years. Her two sisters, Neena and Jaya were aged 51 and 49 years respectively, while her brother Pradeep was the youngest at 37 years of age.

They were found hanging in two separate rooms.

    Evidence

Police find suicide note; neighbors corroborate the evidence

During investigations, police found a suicide note in the house that cited financial troubles as the reason for the group suicide.

Locals also corroborated the evidence, saying that one of the sisters had been suffering from a kidney ailment that required dialysis, and that the family was in financial trouble.

They also said that the siblings had lost both their parents just months back.
