Saeldah-Ajmer Express derails, kills 2

What's the story

At 5.20 am on Wednesday morning, 15 coaches of the Saeldah-Ajmer express derailed between Rura-Metha in Kanpur Dehat.

This accident killed 2 people and injured 28; movement of trains on the route has been impacted.

Rescue teams from Etawah and Kanpur arrived at the accident site.

Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu assured that ex-gratia will be paid to the injured.
