    What's the story

A four-storey building collapsed in Indore on Saturday evening, killing at least 10 people and injuring six others.

So far, seven people have been rescued. However, several others are still feared trapped inside the debris, according to a Hindustan Times report.

The building, near Indore's Sarvate bus stand, had a lodge cum restaurant called MS Hotel and many other shops.

    Here's more.

    Details

The building was 50 years old, in poor condition

"The deceased include two women. Half a dozen injured persons have been rushed to MY Hospital," Indore DIG Harinarayanchari Mishra told HT.

Though the exact reason of the tragedy isn't yet confirmed, eye-witnesses claim the 50-year-old building came crashing down after a heavy vehicle hit one of its pillars at 9:15pm, reported NDTV.

According to locals, the building was in a dilapidated condition.
