    What's the story

Indians love sports and a lot of people dream to build a career in sports and play for the country.

However, being a sportsperson is not the only way to become a sports professional. There are a number of sports-related career options to choose from.

Apart from playing a sport, here are 6 options that will help you make a career in sports.

    Sports management

Sports management is an exciting career option

Students can go for sports management for a career in the business side of the industry. It involves managing sportspersons, revenue generation, sports marketing/management/advertising, media relations, etc.

Bachelor of Management Studies (Mumbai's National Academy of Sports Management), BBA Sports Management (West Bengal's Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology), Bachelor of Sports Management (Mumbai's International Institute of Sports Management) are popular courses after 12th.

    Sports journalism
