    What's the story

Dangal star Zaira Wasim left all shocked after she announced her decision to quit acting, as her "relationship with religion was threatened."

Now, reports suggest that she has denied promoting her upcoming movie, The Sky Is Pink, also starring Priyanka Chopra and Farhan Akhtar.

"In keeping with her decision, she has requested the makers to excuse her from promotional activities," a source stated.

Director Shonali Bose has been informed about Zaira's decision

The source told Mid-Day, "While she was a thorough professional throughout the shoot, she is now firm in her resolve to not be associated with movies in any capacity. The team, including director Shonali Bose, have been informed of her decision."

I am not truly happy with this identity, wrote Zaira

For the uninitiated, the National Award winning actress took to social media to announce her retirement from acting.

Explaining her reasons to quit Bollywood, she stated that she had a feeling of non-belonging in showbiz.
