Karan Johar, the ace filmmaker, has apparently asked Sajid Nadiadwala to delay the trailer release of the highly anticipated Housefull 5.
This comes after Nadiadwala said the first trailer would be attached to his other production, Salman Khan's Sikandar, during the Eid 2025 weekend.
But Johar's tactical move is to ensure that all audience attention is diverted toward his upcoming film, Kesari 2.

Apparently, Johar's strategy was to ensure the trailer of Housefull 5 doesn't overshadow his own film Kesari 2.
A source told Bollywood Hungama, "Karan Johar first had a word with Akshay Kumar to delay the trailer of Housefull 5 to ensure that all the audience attention is on Kesari 2."
"Akshay agreed and requested Karan also to explain his stance to Sajid Nadiadwala - The producer of Housefull 5."
Notably, Kumar leads both the films.

Nadiadwala is considering Johar's request
After hearing Johar's request, Nadiadwala has reportedly agreed to explore options to create buzz for Kesari 2.
The producer is considering delaying the Housefull 5 trailer and attaching the Kesari 2 teaser to Sikandar.
"Sajid has promised Karan to find a solution to make buzz for Kesari 2. He is exploring logistics to delay the Housefull 5 trailer and attach the Kesari 2 teaser to Sikandar," the source further added.

Final decision on trailer delay expected soon
The final call to delay the Housefull 5 trailer and attach the teaser of Kesari 2 to Sikandar will be taken in a day.
If the plan goes through, it will give a larger audience a glimpse of Kesari 2.
"Karan is confident that the teaser will create an impact among cinegoers and boost his ticket sales," the source concluded.
