    What's the story

Actor Sonu Sood recently made his directorial debut with the action-thriller Fateh, which was released on January 10, 2025.

After completing its theatrical run, the film is now streaming on JioHotstar.

The actioner also stars Naseeruddin Shah, Vijay Raaz, Jacqueline Fernandez, and Dibyendu Bhattacharya.

Sood has also co-written and produced the movie.

    Storyline

'Fateh' plot revolves around cybercrime and heroism

In Fateh, Sood plays an ex-Special Ops officer living a simple life in Punjab as a dairy farming supervisor.

Things take a turn when he is compelled to return to action after a village girl falls prey to a cybercrime mafia syndicate.

Sood's character joins hands with an ethical hacker, played by Fernandez, to take down the syndicate.

Fateh is produced by Shakti Sagar Productions and Zee Studios, and Ajay Dhama is the co-producer.

    Sood's plans

'Fateh' will spawn a 'volatile' sequel

In an interaction with Times Now in January, Sood said, "Yes, I have a sequel on the anvil. That's how we had planned the project, as Part 1 and Part 2."

"[Everything] depends on how well Fateh does. So far it's all good. Some of the toughest critics have given the film a thumbs-up. I can assure everyone the sequel will be even more volatile."
