Despite releasing on limited screens, the Vivek Agnihotri-directorial has ushered in massive response, beating the gross box office collections of major hits.
While it is still running successfully in theaters, many are also waiting for the film's OTT premiere.

ZEE5 has reportedly acquired post-theatrical rights
According to reports, streaming service ZEE5 has bagged the post-theatrical rights of the Anupam Kher-starrer. Given the film is backed by ZEE Studios, this does make sense.
As for the OTT premiere date, makers are not likely to disrupt the movie's fierce run at the box office anytime soon. So, we can expect The Kashmir Files to hit the OTT space by April end.
TV premiere
Expect to catch it on TV by May
Those who haven't been able to hit the theaters can also look forward to The Kashmir Files' satellite TV premiere which is also likely to happen soon.
Reports suggest the film—centered around the exodus of Kashmiri Pandits from the Valley—would be released on television channels under Zee Network.
We can expect the movie to arrive on our idiot boxes by the month of May.

Film expected to cross Rs. 150cr mark this weekend
Coming back to its glorious performance on the big screens, Agnihotri's creation has recorded its highest single-day total on the second Saturday (Day 9) of its run with a collection of Rs. 24.8 crore.
According to trade analyst Taran Adarsh, the film is expected to "comfortably" cross the massive Rs. 150 crore mark by the end of this weekend.

Apart from Kher, the film stars Mithun Chakraborty, Darshan Kumaar, Pallavi Joshi, Chinmay Mandlekar, Bhasha Sumbli, Puneet Issar, and Atul Srivastava in prominent roles.
Aided by a non-linear narrative, it highlights the plight of Kashmiri Pandits in the Kashmir Valley and how they were subjected to a "genocide."
