    What's the story

It is that time of the week again when you would rigorously check the newspapers for the latest movie releases, to make your weekend fruitful.

We bring to you a comparative study of this week's big releases: 'An Insignificant Man' starring Delhi's CM, Arvind Kejriwal and 'Tumhari Sulu' starring Vidya Balan and Manav Kaul.

    Read on to know more!

    Hindustan Times

Sulu: Clumsy script; Insignificant man: Fails to change your beliefs

According to the film critic of Hindustan Times, 'Tumhari Sulu' fails to touch the right note. It is clumsily wrapped, leaving several loopholes in the narrative.

However, she is a little considerate towards 'An Insignificant Man'. She feels the documentary is an educating journey about the political developments that gave birth to the Aam Aadmi Party.

    Indian Express

Vidya steals the show in Sulu, Insignificant man appears promising

Shubhra Gupta of Indian Express, who generally has zero tolerance for Bollywood, feels Vidya has completely stolen the show in 'Tumhari Sulu'. She channels her distinctive voice and full-bellied laughter to invest Sulu with real warmth.

For 'Insignificant Man', IE writes that it is a contemporary watch for cinema-goers because politics is an unexplored genre in Bollywood.

    Deccan Chronicle

'Sulu' is entertaining; 'An Insignificant Man': A nail-biting thriller

According to the critics of Deccan Chronicle, 'Tumhari Sulu' is an entertaining joyride with a progressive end, which they feel is extremely commendable. They are all-praises for the director for telling a simple story with a big heart.

"You may like him or hate him but you can't ignore Kejriwal in this 96-minute long political thriller," said the critics about 'An Insignificant Man'.

    Verdict

    Editor's Take

'Tumhari Sulu' and 'An Insignificant Man' have received similar treatments from the noted film critics.

So if you are in for some entertaining watch, head straight to the theatres for 'Tumhari Sulu'. Vidya has walked away with the film with the charms she has added to her character.

But if political thriller is your thing, 'Insignificant Man' is the film for you.
