The much-anticipated sequel to the 2019 hit film War, titled War 2, is set to feature a dynamic dance number between Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR.
Notably, the film is currently on floors and will serve as the continuation of the events of War, which starred Roshan and Tiger Shroff.
"Hrithik vs NTR is what fans can expect in War 2," shared a source close to the production.

A source told Bollywood Hungama: "The makers smartly and organically have come up with a situation in the film where the two male leads will be seen dancing to a catchy song."
"It is composed by Pritam and is considered to be one of the biggest highlights of the film."
Both Roshan and Jr NTR are renowned for their dancing skills, having recently starred in films featuring popular dance numbers like War and RRR, respectively.

The upcoming dance sequence in War 2 is expected to be a cinematic marvel, combining elements from Jai Jai Shivshankar (War) and Naatu Naatu, an Oscar-winning song from RRR where Jr NTR danced with Ram Charan.
"If all goes well and if the aam junta accepts the track with open arms, it will not just create hungama but in the long run, it can also emerge as the mother of all dance songs," the source added.

The film's producer, Aditya Chopra, and director, Ayan Mukerji, have emphasized that War 2 is not just an action film, but a comprehensive entertainer.
"Producer Chopra and director Mukerji are clear that War 2 isn't just an actioner but it's a wholesome entertainer and songs will play a big role in not just selling the film but also taking the story forward."

The film is slated for an Independence Day 2025 release
The movie also stars Kiara Advani and is scheduled for a worldwide cinema release on August 14, 2025.
War 2 marks the sixth film in Chopra's expansive YRF Spy Universe, which includes another untitled film starring Alia Bhatt and Sharvari.
This will be followed by Pathaan 2.
The culmination of this cinematic journey is anticipated to be a major face-off between Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan in Tiger vs Pathaan.
