On its ninth day in theaters, Vedaa managed to earn only ₹22 lakh, further highlighting its underperformance.

Vedaa tells the story of a Dalit girl who faces atrocities from powerful men of the upper community. She teams up with an army man to seek justice and fight for her people.
The film also features Abhishek Banerjee as the main antagonist, showcasing his versatility as he simultaneously played a comic character in Stree 2.
He earlier told Zoom, "To have a release on this date is already a great deal, and then having two releases is bigger."
