    What's the story

Nikkhil Advani's latest directorial venture, Vedaa, starring John Abraham and Sharvari, has witnessed a drop in its box office collection on the second day.

Despite facing competition from two major releases, Stree 2 and Khel Khel Mein, the film had a promising start on Thursday.

However, the movie's earnings have now slowed down and it needs to pick up pace over the weekend to redeem itself.

'Vedaa' earns ₹1.60 crore on second day

According to early estimates by Sacnilk, Vedaa earned ₹6.52 crore on its opening day. However, the film's earnings dipped on the second day, with a total collection of ₹1.60 crore.

This decline in box office performance comes despite the initial excitement surrounding Abraham's return to the big screen after his successful stint in Pathaan.

Its total collection now stands at ₹7.90 crore.
