    What's the story

The political drama The Sabarmati Report, starring Vikrant Massey, Ridhi Dogra, and Raashii Khanna in lead roles, has crossed the ₹10 crore mark at the box office.

Despite a slow opening day with ₹1.25 crore earnings, the film's revenue has consistently increased over six days to ₹10.35 crore.

On its sixth day alone, it earned an impressive ₹1.55 crore according to early estimates reported by Sacnilk.

    Box office performance

'The Sabarmati Report' witnessed steady growth in earnings

The film's box office performance has been steady, earning ₹1.25 crore on Day 1, ₹2.1 crore on Day 2, and ₹3 crore on Day 3.

Although it dipped slightly to ₹1.15 crore on Day 4, the revenue picked up again to ₹1.3 crore on Day 5 and further rose to ₹1.55 crore on Day 6 (Wednesday).

This steady growth in earnings indicates the film is picking up pace among audiences.

    State support

'The Sabarmati Report' received tax exemptions and political praise

The film has also been given tax exemptions in a few states, further boosting its box office performance.

The decision was influenced by positive reviews from top political figures, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri, recently, praised the film on Twitter after a special screening, saying it was a "compelling truth of the unfortunate and brutal 2002 Godhra train burning incident."
