    What's the story

It's no longer surprising when Taylor Swift makes history.

However, it is newsworthy that she recently became the first solo artist to perform eight times at London's Wembley Stadium during a single tour.

The 34-year-old pop star achieved this feat during the eighth show of her The Eras Tour on Tuesday (local time), surpassing the record previously held by Michael Jackson for his Bad tour in 1988.

    Gratitude

Swift expressed gratitude toward fans for their support

Swift expressed her gratitude to the audience during her performance, stating, "You just made me the first solo artist to ever play Wembley eight times in a single tour."

She added, "We will never, ever be able to thank you enough for it."

This achievement marks a significant milestone in Swift's illustrious career and further cements her status as one of the most influential artists of her generation.

    Collaboration

    Special guests joined Swift onstage

The record-breaking concert also featured special guest appearances by Bleachers's lead vocalist Jack Antonoff and British singer Florence Welch.

Swift and Antonoff, who have collaborated on several hit songs including Cruel Summer, performed Death by a Thousand Cuts from her album Lover and Getaway Car from Reputation.

Meanwhile, Swift and Welch delighted fans by performing their song Florida!!! live for the first time.

    Appreciation

Swift paid tribute to her musical friendships

While introducing Antonoff to the stage, Swift reflected on the importance of her musical friendships.

"I think a lot about why I'm lucky enough to get to do a show like the Eras Tour, and it's because I've been fortunate enough to find friendships over the years."

Following the conclusion of the European leg, Swift is set to return to the US for her next show in Miami on October 18, where she will be joined by singer-songwriter Gracie Abrams.

    Light-hearted moment

Swift's humorous interaction with the audience

In addition to her record-breaking performance, Swift also entertained the audience with a humorous interaction.

She jokingly addressed her parents, saying, "I guarantee my parents were just recording that on their phones. So anytime I'm having a sad or a bad day, not only will I play the video in my mind, but I'm gonna revisit that moment a lot - thank you so much for doing that."
