    What's the story

Reports on Thursday indicated that K-pop idol-turned-actor Bae Suzy (or simply Suzy) is being considered for a role in the forthcoming romance film 7:00pm Luncheon for the Broken Hearted.

The movie, based on Baek Young-ok's 2012 novel, is directed by Lim Soen-ae, acclaimed for her work on An Old Lady and Ms Apocalypse.

The narrative revolves around heartbroken individuals sharing their stories at a restaurant.

    Career highlights

Suzy's potential role and recent successes

Suzy has been offered the role of Yoon Sa-gang, a character who falls in love with a married man.

This news comes as she continues to garner praise for her performances in popular projects like Start Up and While You Were Sleeping.

In addition to this potential role, Suzy is also set to appear in the sci-fi film Wonderland, premiering next month in South Korean theaters.

    Future projects

Suzy also teaming up with Kim Woo-bin for Netflix series

This isn't all, Suzy is set to star in the Netflix original series All the Love You Wish For, premiering later this year, too.

This highly anticipated fantasy romance comedy K-drama will reunite her with Kim Woo-bin after eight years, following their previous collaboration on the romance melodrama Uncontrollably Fond.

Suzy made her acting debut in 2011 with the series Dream High after being a member of the girl group Miss A.
