    What's the story

Ever since Aamir Khan backed out of the Rakesh Sharma's biopic because of creative differences, the name of another Khan has been doing the rounds as Mr. Perfectionist's replacement. And if the latest reports are to be believed, Shah Rukh Khan has finally come on board for 'Salute.'

Interestingly, the film will be SRK's first biopic.

    Here's all about it.

    Details

Aamir suggested SRK to take up the project

There was a news report some time back which stated that Aamir is keen about SRK doing 'Salute' as he thinks King Khan would be an apt choice for the role. However, nothing was materialized back then.

But now, as per latest updates, SRK has not only signed the biopic but will soon commence the shoot as well.

    Quote

    Here's what the reports say

"SRK wants to start shooting in September and continue for two months before he starts promoting Zero, which releases on Christmas. After that, he will resume Salute's shoot from January 2019. The film is expected to release next year," the report said.

    Unfortunate

SRK was recently in news for saying no to Bhansali

In another news, the king of romance, who was in talks with Sanjay Leela Bhansali for a couple of films, apparently turned down both the projects for reasons best known to him.

SRK will be next seen in Anand L Rai's 'Zero' alongside Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma. The film will release on Christmas this year.
