Sonam Kapoor denies playing an actress in Sanjay Dutt biopic

Putting all speculations to rest, Sonam Kapoor has clarified that she is not playing an actress in the upcoming Sanjay Dutt biopic.
Several reports suggested that the 'Neerja' actress would portray Madhuri Dixit in the yet-to-be titled film.
Directed by Rajkumar Hirani, the biopic stars Ranbir Kapoor as the protagonist.

Here's what Sonam told a publication
"I have a small but important part in the movie. It's not what everyone is thinking. I am not playing an actress. I am not allowed to say anything about it. But it has been wonderful working with Rajkumar Hirani," Sonam said.

The film is slated to release in June
The biopic has been in the making for quite a while now and is expected to hit the screens by the end of June.
Apart from Ranbir and Sonam, it also stars Anushka Sharma, Paresh Rawal, Manisha Koirala, Karishma Tanna, Vicky Kaushal and Jim Sarbh.
Fans are eagerly eagerly waiting for the film on the life of their beloved Sanju baba.
