    What's the story

Sharon Osbourne, the 72-year-old wife and manager of rock legend Ozzy Osbourne (76), recently lamented a missed opportunity in her husband's acting career.

On The Magnificent Others with Billy Corgan, the TV star disclosed that she had stopped Ozzy from auditioning for the Pirates of the Caribbean film franchise.

"Do you want to know the biggest mistake I ever made with Ozzy?" Osbourne asked Corgan before revealing this.

    Regret expressed

'He got offered to go and read for Pirates...'

Osbourne told Corgan, "He got offered to go and read for Pirates of the Caribbean, and I've never said this to anyone, and I said no." She then wondered what could have been, saying: "Now wouldn't he have been perfect?"

    Corgan agreed with her sentiment.

Osbourne further mentioned Johnny Depp's successful inclusion of another rockstar, Keith Richards in the franchise as Captain Teague in two films.

    Career and health

Ozzy's acting career and health challenges

Despite missing out on the Pirates franchise, Ozzy has had a successful acting career with appearances in Austin Powers in Goldmember, Little Nicky, and an episode of Crime Scene: Investigation.

This revelation from Osbourne comes amid reports that Ozzy is currently unable to walk due to Parkinson's disease. However, he is preparing for a highly anticipated reunion show with Black Sabbath.

"He's very happy to be coming back and very emotional about this," Osbourne told The Sun earlier this month.

    Concert details

Ozzy's plans for the upcoming Black Sabbath concert

Despite his health issues, Ozzy has been excited about the upcoming Black Sabbath concert. However, he did clarify he wouldn't be doing a complete performance.

"I'm not planning on doing a set with Black Sabbath but will be doing little bits and pieces with them," he said on Ozzy Speaks as part of the SiriusXM radio station Ozzy's Boneyard.

The last Black Sabbath concert titled Back to the Beginning will happen on July 5 at Villa Park in Birmingham, England.
