Shahid Kapoor and Vishal Bhardwaj are set to reunite for an upcoming action thriller, produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, reported Pinkvilla.
To note, the actor-director duo has previously collaborated on critically acclaimed films like Kaminey (2009) and Haider (2014).
The latter even won several National Film Awards, including Best Music, Best Dialogue, Best Costume Design, Best Playback Singer - Male, and Best Choreography.

Kapoor to play lead in Nadiadwala-Bhardwaj's action thriller
According to sources, Kapoor has been roped in to play the lead role. This project marks Bhardwaj's first action film, which is being planned on a grand scale.
"It's a mission-based action thriller and Sajid Nadiadwala is excited to bring it to the spectacle in the biggest possible way," a source revealed.
It further added, "Shahid has utmost respect for Vishal and Sajid, and he was on board the film the minute he heard the narration."
Production plans
Film to feature six massive action set pieces: Report
Kapoor is expected to start shooting for this project in September or October. The film will be shot extensively in India and the US.
The makers are planning to create six massive action set pieces for the film. They are also looking to cast an A-list actor as the female lead.
Pre-production work has already begun and the film is expected to hit the big screen in 2025.
The film is yet to be titled.

Nadiadwala, Kapoor have other big projects lined up
Meanwhile, apart from this project, Nadiadwala has three other big films lined up for the next year. He is currently working on Sikandar, starring Salman Khan and Rashmika Mandanna.
The producer is also set to start shooting for Housefull 5 in the UK in the next month.
Kapoor, on the other hand, is gearing up for the release of Deva on Valentine's Day weekend.
