Upon learning of her impending honor, Azmi expressed her gratitude and excitement.
"It is an honor, for sure, to be counted in the city of London among Dame Rosemary Squire, Sir Howard Panter and Sir Cameron Mackintosh," she told Times Now.
She also acknowledged the significance of this recognition stating, "To me each token of recognition is a reminder that I've done something that makes me relevant."
