Sara-Kartik to begin shooting for Imtiaz Ali's directorial next week

Ever since Sara Ali Khan confessed her liking about Kartik Aaryan, there have been reports about the two sharing screen space.
And finally, the wait is over as the sizzling pair will soon be romancing each other in Imtiaz Ali's next directorial.
Reportedly, Sara and Kartik, who are ecstatic to work with Imtiaz, will begin shooting for the movie next week in Delhi.

Imtiaz's next to be shot in Delhi-Punjab, not foreign locales
The reports further suggest that unlike Imtiaz's last two directorial, Tamasha and Jab Harry Met Sejal, this movie will not be shot in a foreign land.
Instead, the filming will be done largely in the locales of Delhi and Punjab.
"Kartik and Sara have been doing readings for a while now and the film is ready to go on the floors," the source added.

Kartik also confirmed the news of being a part of a Imtiaz Ali directorial, while praising him.
The Luka Chuppi actor even mentioned that he had been yearning to work with Imtiaz for long.
"Yes, I'm doing Imtiaz Sir's next film. He's one of my favorite filmmakers and I've always wanted to work with him. I am glad it's finally happening," Kartik added.

Furthermore, if the gossip mongers are to be believed, Sara-Kartik's love story will be titled as Love Aaj Kal 2. Reportedly, the movie will be a sequel to Imtiaz's 2009 romantic-comedy Love Aaj Kal starring Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone.

Saif to be a part of 'Love Aaj Kal 2'?
Interestingly, there were reports that Saif will also be a part of Love Aaj Kal 2 and will be seen playing the role of Sara's father in the movie.
However, Saif shunned the reports and stated, "Imtiaz is making Love Aaj Kal 2, I am happy to sell my stake and not be a part of the film. It is a business deal."
Reunion
Imtiaz to reunite with Randeep after 5 years
Meanwhile, there are reports that Randeep Hooda has been roped for a pivotal role in the movie.
"While Kartik and Sara are paired opposite each other, Randeep's role is similar to that of Rishi Kapoor's in Love Aaj Kal," a source told Mumbai Mirror.
Notably, this will be Randeep's second collaboration with Imtiaz, after their much acclaimed 2014 release Highway, also starring Alia Bhatt.
