What's the story
Samarth Jurel, a confirmed contestant for the upcoming reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi 14, has withdrawn from the competition at the last moment.
As per Pinkvilla, the Bigg Boss 17 fame actor had to back out due to medical reasons.
A source reportedly revealed that Jurel "won't even be a part of the press meet that has been scheduled for today (Saturday) along with the other contestants."
His contract has now been "terminated."

Jurel gained immense fame as a wildcard contestant on BB 17 by revealing he is co-contestant Isha Malviya's boyfriend.
Previously, Malviya had claimed to be single in the show.
Meanwhile, Jurel—affectionately known as Chintu—had also appeared in several TV shows, including Splitsvilla X4, Anupamaa, Udaariyaan, and Maitree.
His fans, who eagerly anticipated his participation in Khatron Ke Khiladi, are disappointed by his sudden withdrawal.

Despite Jurel's withdrawal, the reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi 14, hosted by Rohit Shetty, has a strong line-up of contestants for this season.
Former Bigg Boss participants Asim Riaz and Abhishek Kumar have confirmed their participation.
Fitness enthusiast Krishna Shroff, sister of Tiger Shroff, is also excited about participating in the show.
Other confirmed contestants include TV actors Shilpa Shinde, Gashmeer Mahajani, and Karan Veer Mehra among others.

Meanwhile, renowned actor Sumona Chakravarti will also be joining the show.
Speaking about her participation, Sumona said, "I thought it was some sort of prank, but as the reality sank in and the offer was confirmed, I was excited. I'm thrilled about the show taking its daredevilry to a new country."

Premiere update
'KKK14' filming location shifted to Romania from Cape Town, SA
This year, the show will reportedly not be filmed in Cape Town, South Africa, but will instead take place in Romania.
Initially slated to air in March, the KKK14 schedule was not met. Hence, it faced a two-month delay.
It is now expected to premiere soon after the ongoing Dance Deewane Season 4 concludes on May 26.
