Salman Khan to begin filming 'Sikandar' in May
What's the story
Bollywood superstar Salman Khan recently faced a scary threat to life following the firing by two men outside his Galaxy Apartments in Mumbai.
However, that hasn't deterred Khan from stepping out and meeting his professional commitments.
Khan—who is set to star in AR Murugadoss's Sikandar—will start shooting for the film in May, reported Mid-Day.
Currently, Murugadoss is involved in the production of a Tamil actioner, tentatively titled SK23, starring actor Sivakarthikeyan.

The director will juggle two projects
A source told the portal, "Before Sikandar goes on floors, Murugadoss wants to wrap up maximum portions of SK23. After he shoots the first schedule of Sikandar in May, he will go back to finish Sivakarthikeyan's movie in June."
"From July, he will be fully immersed in the Salman-starrer."
Sikandar, a joint venture between Sajid Nadiadwala and Murugadoss, is set to hit the screens on Eid 2025.

The filming of Sikandar will take place in Portugal, other European countries, and India, reported Pinkvilla.
With a staggering budget of ₹400cr, the film is being touted as Nadiadwala's most ambitious project to date.
Adding to the excitement surrounding Sikandar, renowned music composer Pritam has been enlisted as the film's music director.

This is how Khan revealed the poster
A few days ago, on Eid, Khan dropped the film's regal poster and shared the movie's title that befits his stature in Indian cinema.
He wrote, "Iss Eid Bade Miyan Chote Miyan aur Maidaan ko dekho aur agli Eid Sikandar se aa kar milo.... Wish u all Eid Mubarak! #SajidNadiadwala Presents #Sikandar Directed by @a.r.murugadoss @nadiadwalagrandson @wardakhannadiadwala #SikandarEid2025."
In his message, he promoted Akshay Kumar's BMCM and Ajay Devgn's Maidaan, both of which were released on Eid.
Other projects
Khan's projects on the big and small screen
Khan, last seen in Tiger 3 in 2023, also has another project in his kitty—Karan Johar's The Bull.
However, the film is currently in limbo due to date conflicts and it's uncertain when the movie will go on floors, if at all it does.
In addition to that, he is set to host Bigg Boss OTT 3, a spin-off of the long-running reality show Bigg Boss.
