Salman: Young actors have misunderstood what Hindi cinema stands for

    What's the story

Salman Khan is a man of few words and that is why whenever he speaks, everybody listens.

Having been in the movies for three decades, the superstar in his recent interview put forth his viewpoint on the young stars of Bollywood.

He said some interesting things about the new generation actors.

    Details

He is impressed with Tiger Shroff and Varun Dhawan

Salman said while some new actors are doing well for themselves, others have failed to understand what our cinema stands for.

He said, "Tiger got it right this time with 'Baaghi 2'. Varun has always been getting it right. He tried one, but then that was a film (October) he wanted to do and it did make decent money and no one lost anything."

    Quote

Salman's analysis of the young brigade

"Apart from them, I think everyone is going slightly... They think India is from Cuffe Parade (South Mumbai) to Andheri, which is not true. They think all our emotions are cliched and outdated," Salman said.

    Context

Meanwhile, he is gearing up for 'Race 3' release

Meanwhile, Salman will soon set the box office on fire with 'Race 3'. The film is laced with all elements of a typical Bhai film and is releasing on Eid i.e. June 15.

Also starring Jacqueline Fernandez, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Daisy Shah and Saqib Saleem, the film has been directed by Remo D'Souza.
