Cinephiles went crazy after Bollywood heartthrobs Kartik Aaryan and Sara Ali Khan were roped in for Imtiaz Ali's next.
The movie was touted to be a sequel of Love Aaj Kal and was reportedly titled as Love Aaj Kal 2.
However, as per recent buzz, Imtiaz has finalized a new title of his directorial.
Reportedly, the love story will be known as Aaj Kal.

Notably, reports are rife that Sara-Kartik's love story will be the second installment of Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone's 2009 release Love Aaj Kal.
The reports further suggested that it will begin from the point the first installment ended.
While there was no official confirmation about it, the new title of Imtiaz's movie did drop hints about Aaj Kal's connection with Saif-Deepika starrer.

Earlier, Sara teased fans by posting romantic picture with Kartik
Earlier, Sara expressed her excitement on Instagram when she announced her first collaboration with both Kartik and Imtiaz.
To keep her fans updated, the Kedarnath actress also shared a still from the film where she was seen resting her head on Kartik's shoulder.
Their picture was certainly a treat to the eyes and made the fans eager for their first movie together.

Cast
Randeep Hooda to play a key role in 'Aaj Kal'
Apart from Sara-Kartik, Aaj Kal will also star Randeep Hooda in a pivotal role.
According to media reports, Randeep's role will be similar to the role of Rishi Kapoor in Love Aaj Kal.
Apparently, Saif was being considered for this role initially. However, he refused it and Randeep was taken aboard.
Interestingly, this will be Randeep's second collaboration with Imtiaz after 2014 release Highway.
