What's the story
After almost five years of living separately, actors Ranvir Shorey and Konkona Sensharma have now decided to formally end their marriage.
The estranged couple has filed for divorce by mutual consent and all formalities are already over, reports SpotboyE. The divorce was filed at the Bandra Family Court in Mumbai.
The divorce decree will be granted in the next six months.

Ranvir, Konkona had announced the separation in 2015
Even after parting ways, Ranvir and Konkona continue to share a cordial relationship and also work together, occasionally.
The report added that the duo also underwent marriage counseling but failed to arrive at a middle ground.
Ranvir and Konkona, who got married in 2010, announced their separation in September 2015. They will share the custody of their eight-year-old son Haroon.

Talking about their separation, Ranvir had earlier said, "Yes, we have separated mutually."
"But I still believe in the institution of marriage. I understand because of my recent separation this question (of belief in marriage) is coming up. I only blame myself for that (the split from Konkana)," the actor had told IANS back in 2017.

Ranvir and Konkona had started dating in 2007.
The two have worked together in several movies such as Traffic Signal, Mixed Doubles, Aaja Nachle and Gour Hari Dastaan: The Freedom File.
They last collaborated on A Death in the Gunj (2017), a movie written and directed by Konkona. The movie also marked Konkona's debut feature film as a director.
