    Ranveer Singh credits 'Simmba' success to Rohit Shetty

    2018 has been sensational for Ranveer Singh on both personal and professional fronts.

    He got married to the love of his life, Deepika Padukone, he impressed us as Alauddin Khilji in Padmaavat and now his Simmba is winning hearts.

    Needless to say, Ranveer is grinning ear-to-ear after Simmba's success.

    Humbled by the reception, the actor credited the success to Simmba director Rohit Shetty.

    'Simmba' is roaring at the box office

    Simmba opened at the box-office with a bang and is continuing the trend.

    The movie, which earned Rs. 20.72 crores on day one, witnessed a massive jump on day two. The total collections stand at Rs. 44.05 crore.

    According to trade analyst Taran Adarsh, Simmba is expected to score big in the opening weekend and will continue to top the box-office chart.

    Ranveer expresses gratitude towards Rohit

    To recall, Ranveer stated that it was an honor for him to work with Rohit. And now the actor has expressed his gratitude towards him for seeing him as Simmba.

    "I thank Rohit for trusting that I can do his masala cop film convincingly," he added.

    The record-breaking opening of Simmba has ended 2018 on a much sweeter note for Ranveer.

    Ranveer is overwhelmed with audience response

    Undoubtedly, it is a proud moment for Ranveer who admitted that playing Sangram Bhalerao was not easy for him.

    However, he decided to work hard for it and audience pouring love on Simmba shows his efforts didn't go unnoticed.

    Overwhelmed with the response, Ranveer said, "The record-breaking success of the film is for Rohit Shetty and his phenomenal team to cherish".

    By now we know, all Ranveer wants is good roles

    Needless to say, Ranveer is a complete entertainment package and his hunger for good roles is insatiable.

    He has been a dynamic performer who impressed us with his versatility. We loved him as Bajirao and Khilji equally.

    Talking about it, Ranveer said, "As an artist, I have always tried to experiment and I'm happy that my content choices are being loved by audiences".
