    What's the story

Rakshas is happening, and Ranveer Singh is still in it!

Contrary to previous reports suggesting a split due to creative differences, Singh remains involved in director Prasanth Varma's upcoming film.

A source from Varma's team confirmed the same to Hindustan Times.

The source stated, "It's absolutely untrue that Prasanth Varma and Ranveer Singh have parted ways due to creative differences in their upcoming film from PCU (Prasanth Cinematic Universe)."

    Production progress

Film shooting has already commenced: Source

The source further revealed that the shooting for the film has already commenced, with Varma and Singh working late into the night.

"Prasanth even shot for the film till 4:00am on Tuesday, and Ranveer has already shot a few portions," the source said.

The official announcement about this project is yet to be made.

The film, reportedly titled Rakshas, was initially set to start production in July.

    Movie details

Previous report claimed 'creative differences' between Singh, Varma

Earlier reports from Pinkvilla suggested that Singh had traveled to Hyderabad for a photo shoot to announce the film but later decided not to be part of the project due to "creative differences."

However, these reports have been refuted by recent confirmation from Varma's team.

The source stated that Rakshas is a period film set in the pre-independence era with a mythological background.

The official announcement about Singh's involvement is still awaited.

    Future endeavors

    Singh's upcoming projects beyond 'Rakshas'

In addition to Rakshas, Singh has several other projects lined up.

He will reprise his role as Simmba in Rohit Shetty's cop drama Singham Again, which also stars his wife Deepika Padukone, Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, and Kareena Kapoor Khan.

Further, he is set to headline Farhan Akhtar's Don 3, scheduled for release in 2025. The film also stars Kiara Advani.
