Sara Ali Khan's debut film 'Kedarnath' put on hold

    What's the story

The much-talked about debut project of Sara Ali Khan titled 'Kedarnath', starring Sushant Singh Rajput as the male lead, has once again found itself in troubled waters.

Director Abhishek Kapoor's Guy In The Sky Pictures and KriArj Entertainment who were jointly producing the film have now parted ways, putting the shoot of the film on hold as of now.

    Here's more.

    Blame game begins

    Producers failed to reach agreement

Abhishek has put the blame on default of payments and lack of transparency for the end of this new association, while KriArj Entertainment's Prernaa Arora seem to have had enough of director's "unprofessional" and "disorganized" treatment of the project.

The budget of the film has already gone overboard, owing to the differences between the producers.

    Not an ideal start

Things never fell in place for Kedarnath

Troubles got in the way of Kedarnath from the very start. From Sushant being difficult to work with to Abhishek delaying the shoot by six months due to his unreasonable demands, the film's journey has not been smooth at all.

Things took a turn for worse when Abhishek went on to announce the release date of the film without Prernaa's consent.

    Details

The disaster film has a lot at stake

As 'Kedarnath' is riding on a fairly high budget, the multiple delays will only make its future uncertain.

The film that will introduce Saif Ali Khan's daughter in Bollywood, is essentially a love story set against the backdrop of the 2013 Uttarakhand tragedy.
