Not wanting her name to be in any way associated with Nirav Modi who has been accused of a major financial fraud, Priyanka Chopra has terminated her contract with his diamond jewelry house.
PeeCee was one of the brand ambassadors of Nirav Modi jewels and had appeared in an ad campaign along with Sidharth Malhotra.

Sidharth too has disassociated himself from Nirav
As soon as Nirav was named in the scam, Sidharth had informed the media that his contract with the designer got over a year ago and now he has nothing to do with him or his brand.
Apart from these two actors, Lisa Hayden is also a brand ambassador for Nirav's jewelry house. However, she has not spoken on the matter yet.

Nirav has been declared a fraudster
The celebrity jeweler has been accused in a staggering Rs. 11,400 crore fraud which was reported by the state-run Punjab National Bank at one of its own branches in Mumbai.
The scam was being run by PNB's official to help Nirav and others get credit without guarantees.
Since then, all his celebrity friends have been looking to end their ties with him.
