    If reports are to be believed, director Prashanth Neel might approach Priyanka Chopra for a special song in his upcoming movie Salaar.

    The movie is touted as a pan-India project being shot in multiple languages.

    Keeping a wider audience appeal in mind, the makers are planning to rope in Chopra to feature in a dance number alongside Prabhas.

    The shooting of 'Salaar' is already underway

    The shooting of the movie is currently underway in Godavarikhani near Hyderabad.

    The special song is set to be filmed in the upcoming schedules of the movie, reports say.

    However, no official confirmation on the development has come yet.

    Meanwhile, Chopra was last seen in the critically-acclaimed Netflix movie The White Tiger.

    What is 'Salaar' all about?

    Salaar is being directed by Prashanth Neel, best known for directing the Kannada hit film series - KGF.

    While the story has been kept under the wraps, it will reportedly be an action thriller.

    Actor Shruti Haasan has been roped in to play the lead opposite Prabhas.

    Recently, the film's team met with a road accident but fortunately no major injuries were reported.

    It could mark Chopra's return to Indian cinema

    Chopra, who went global with her role in American thriller Quantico in 2015, last graced Indian screens in 2019's The Sky Is Pink.

    She also recently starred in Hollywood projects like Isn't It Romantic and We Can Be Heroes.

    The actor is now gearing up to play the lead in romantic drama Text For You and has also bagged a role in Matrix 4.

    Prabhas headlining many big-budget projects

    Apart from Salaar, Prabhas is also a part of several other upcoming big-budget projects like Adipurush and Radhe Shyam, that will hit the screens in multiple languages.

    A pre-teaser for Radhe Shyam was also released recently.

    His period drama Adipurush, co-starring actor Saif Ali Khan, also went on floors earlier this month.
