The confirmation comes after widespread speculation that Hegde would be performing a special dance number in the film—a sequence she has reportedly already filmed.

In a smart marketing move, production house Sun Pictures piqued fan curiosity by posting a poster with a blurred image of Hegde on Wednesday. They asked fans to guess the actor's name.
The next day, they unveiled the poster with a caption, "Yes, you guessed it right!"
Hegde's special dance number will reportedly appear at an important point in Coolie. This decision is a departure from director Kanagaraj's usual practice of not having special songs in his films.

'Coolie' reportedly features Aamir Khan in cameo role
Coolie, an action-packed entertainer based on the gold smuggling mafia, has an ensemble cast including Nagarjuna, Upendra, Shruti Haasan, Sathyaraj, Soubin Shahir, Sundeep Kishan, and Reba Monica John.
Apart from its stellar main cast, Coolie is also said to feature Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan in a cameo.
The film's music has been composed by Anirudh Ravichander and is being produced by Sun Pictures.
