During his recent interview on 'The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon', Nick revealed that he was introduced to PeeCee through a common friend and the two exchanged numbers.
Interestingly, the couple didn't meet for six months after that and it was via texts that they got to know each other.
In fact, Nick insisted that they attended the Met Gala event together as friends.
Love story
After texting for months, love finally found its way
Their Met Gala appearance led to speculations about their affair which the two had dismissed for long. On this, Nick said, "the story wrote itself".
He further stated that it was just five months ago when their friendship blossomed into love.
"It was kind of immediate, and I think we just knew it was right and jumped right in. And we're happy," Nick shared.

The reports of Nick and Priyanka's secret engagement did the rounds for a while. It was rumored that the couple had exchanged the rings in New York on PeeCee's birthday.
But the couple had a traditional ceremony in Mumbai in August and for Nick it was a spiritual experience.
Nick also added that his parents were blown away by the love that everyone gave.

Post their engagement, rumors about Priyanka and Nick's wedding are going rife and a lot is being written about the big event.
As per media reports, the couple might have a traditional Indian wedding as this happens to be Priyanka's mother's wish.
