She is fierce, she loves her motherland, and she is not letting Britishers trample her kingdom. Above all, Kangana is the Queen of Jhansi we have all read about a million times.
The Queen is supreme.

The teaser starts with Amitabh Bachchan's narration. The obvious is stated: East India Company's oppression in the 1850s led to us seeking freedom.
During those dark times, warriors were born, Rani of Jhansi being one of them.
The clip ends with the words we all know by heart, "Khub ladi mardaani wo toh jhansi wali rani thi," but this will still give you goosebumps.
Visuals
In terms of grandeur, there's no beating 'Manikarnika'
Courtesy Sanjay Leela Bhansali, lovers of Bollywood are used to watching grandeur unfold on screen. Naturally, there would be comparisons between 'Bajirao Mastani', 'Padmaavat' and 'Manikarnika'.
But Kangana's movie doesn't fail. The sets are opulent, costumes just like they are supposed to be, and cinematography on-point.
At least that is what the teaser shows and we hope the movie keeps up with the hype.

Undoubtedly, this movie is Kangana's show all along. Her capability to carry a movie on her shoulders can't be questioned, and with this she has taken it up a notch higher.
She essays many roles in the movie, a mother, a daughter, a queen, but the one which is bound to stay with you is Kangana being a warrior.
We can't wait for January 25.
