At a press conference in Mumbai on Tuesday, Khan teased Johar about his frequent hosting gigs, urging him to focus on filmmaking as well.

The two have previously collaborated on several successful projects, including Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham.

At the press conference, Khan joked about Johar's frequent hosting gigs, saying, "Karan told me he won't be rehearsing for hosting, he'll do it on Zoom."

"He said, 'Bhai main Zoom pe kar lunga...Main toh itna hosting karta hu na.' Khan added, "Kitna host karega tu? (How much will you host?)"

To this, Johar responded, "Siddhant Chaturvedi said the same thing, and I was like this is sounding so wrong on all levels for a filmmaker. I should be making more movies. That is what I should be doing," Johar added.

Notably, Johar's last directorial venture was the 2023 film Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani.
