    What's the story

Madhuri Dixit is one of the finest actresses in Bollywood, who makes your heart go dhak-dhak every time she is onscreen.

Now after impressing us with her acting prowess for three decades, the firehouse performer is all set to start a new chapter in her career.

Reportedly, the senior actress will be releasing her first single with an English pop album this year.

    Excitement

Madhuri is excited about singing on professional level

Madhuri has already recorded the songs and is pretty excited about her experiments with singing, said media reports.

"This is the first time I am exploring singing on a professional level. It has been a while since we were ready with the album. However, due to other commitments, we did not get the time to shoot for the videos," she informed.

    Debut

She had made her singing debut with 'Gulaab Gang'

Interestingly, this is not the first time that Madhuri is trying her hands in singing.

Earlier, she had collaborated with her mother Snehlata Dixit for the classical song, Rangi Sari Gulabi from Gulaab Gang (2014).

But this time Madhuri is experimenting with the pop genre.

"It's an English album with six songs. They all belong in the realm of pop music," she added.

    Upcoming movies

For now, Madhuri is gearing up for 'Kalank' release

Meanwhile, Madhuri is looking forward to the release of her much-anticipated movie Kalank.

For this movie, she has collaborated with her ex-beau Sanjay Dutt, after a long hiatus of 22 years.

Produced by Karan Johar, the period drama also stars Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt, Aditya Roy Kapur and Sonakshi Sinha in lead.

Kalank, which is directed by Abhishek Varman, is releasing on April 17.
