    Looking back

Faasil was spotted at Stalin's house recently, sparking collaboration rumors

While the official announcement came Friday, Faasil's participation in Selvaraj's next was rumored for a while now.

The speculations began after the Vikram star was spotted at Stalin's house a few days ago along with Selvaraj.

He also wished the actor-producer's father and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin on his birthday.

We are yet to know the plot details of Maamannan though.

    Last project

Expectations high: Selvaraj's previous offering 'Karnan' opened to massive response

After debuting as a director with Pariyerum Perumal in 2018, Selvaraj next gave us Karnan in April 2021.

Focused around the volatile topic of caste-based discrimination and human rights violation, the film worked like magic onscreen, despite getting a release in a COVID-19-impacted environment.

Apart from Dhanush, the film also starred Rajisha Vijaya, Lakshmipriyaa Chandramouli, Gouri Kishan, Lal, and Yogi Babu.
