    What's the story

In a recent interview with Access Hollywood, pop icon Lady Gaga revealed her unique take on the character Harley Quinn for the upcoming film Joker: Folie à Deux.

She emphasized that her portrayal is specifically tailored to this movie's context.

"You know my version of Harley is mine, and it's very authentic to this movie and these characters," Gaga stated, promising a completely new and fun experience for viewers.

    Previous portrayal

Earlier, Margot Robbie expressed enthusiasm for Gaga's casting

"I've never done anything like I've done in this movie before, so it's all going to be completely brand new and really fun," added Gaga in the interview.

Meanwhile, Margot Robbie, who previously portrayed Quinn in Suicide Squad (2016), Birds of Prey (2020), and The Suicide Squad (2021), expressed excitement about Gaga's casting.

"It makes me so happy because...all I want is for (Quinn) to be one of those characters...(that)...gets passed from great actor to actor," Robbie told MTV News.
